Katherine's mother always said "it was an arranged marriage," even though Katherine was born first. Jon and Katherine grew up as good friends despite the fact they lived hundreds of miles away at all times. They were always there for each other when life knocked them down, being just a phone call, road trip or plane ride away. They didn't listen to their parents and life took them in separate directions. But as always, they found their way back to each other again. The rest is history. Jon moved to Indiana, stepped into the bonus dad role effortlessly, and began a new career.

Jon proposed on Christmas Day 2018 in front of all the family. Katherine had absolutely no idea (it's hard to surprise her too!). Wedding planning began right away for September 2020. Then 2020 hit...well we know how this story ends. Excited to celebrate with you all September 26, 2021!

So as you all know we were set to have the big wedding on September 26, 2020 with all our friends and family under one roof. Well....2020 happened and things didn't work out as planned. So we had a very small (legal) wedding with our closest family and a few friends from the wedding party. Don't worry we saved all the fun for the upcoming 2021 party! We can NOT wait to celebrate with everyone!
