Summer cocktail attire. Weather-permitting, the ceremony will be on a lawn with a brick path, so wedges, block heels, or flats are recommended for women.
Not necessarily. The ceremony and reception are at the same location, and transportation will be provided to and from the Westin hotel and the ceremony/reception. Our "Things to Do" page has several recommendations that are walkable from the Westin along the riverfront, but a car will be nice to have if you want to visit any of the locations further away.
For our guests coming from NYC or elsewhere along the Eastern seaboard, you can take Amtrak to the Wilmington, Del (WIL) train station. We recommend booking your tickets early to snag the "Super Saver" fare. While the Westin might look walkable from the train station, we recommend taking a taxi or Uber.
The closest airport is the Philadelphia International Airport. It is about a 30 minute drive from the Westin.
