Cocktail Attire

Celebrate our 5 year anniversary with us over cocktails and light snacks before we say "I do"! History of the venue: The glamorous 6000 square foot Penthouse Suite was added to the rooftop in 1927 and has since hosted US Presidents, royals, dignitaries and celebrities. Elton John has played its piano and legend has it that Marilyn Monroe rendezvoused with JFK and then escaped undetected from the double-story library’s hidden door when Jackie arrived. Many original opulent features remain including the elaborate mosaic Moroccan billiards room, the Art Deco chinoiserie walls in the dining room, and the hand-painted constellations on the domed ceiling of the library. It was after touring the Penthouse Suite that we were sold on having our wedding at the Fairmont!

Wedding Ceremony

3:00 pm - 4:00 pm

Black Tie Attire

A shuttle will be available to and from the ceremony from Fairmont San Francisco. The shuttle will leave the Fairmont promptly at 2:15 PM. History of the venue: Construction of the current Gothic-style St Dominic’s Catholic Church was completed in 1928. It replaced the prior church at that location in Lower Pacific Heights that was destroyed by the 1906 earthquake. After the 1989 earthquake, structural reinforcements were added including flying buttresses on the exterior. The stained glass windows throughout are exquisite, but particularly notable is the 646 square foot “Christ of Glory” window at the back of the church designed by the famous French glassworker Max Ingrand in the 1960’s.
