Travel Note
The best way to get to Colima is by flying to Miguel Hidalgo y Costilla International Airport (GDL) in Guadalajara, Jalisco. (We highly suggest booking your flight as soon as possible to avoid higher rates in the future) The drive from Guadalajara to Colima is around 2 hr and 30 min., we recommend arranging for pick up at the airport prior to your trip, car rentals are also available, but the most convenient way is buying a bus ticket from one of the following websites that will take you straight to Colima ***Although prices are usually a lot higher, another option is to buy a flight to Mexico City from DFW and from there buy another flight straight to Colima.***
Rental Car
If you feel comfortable enough to drive in Mexico, this will be your best option! IF OPTING IN FOR THIS OPTION: MAKE SURE TO HAVE CASH ON YOU FOR TOLLS. If you don't feel comfortable driving in Mexico, you can always get a taxi to the "Terminal de Autobuses Tlaquepaque" Bus Station that will take you to Colima. Bus Lines: https://etn.com.mx/ https://www.autovias.com.mx/ Taxi booths are located right outside the exit at the airport which are safe to take to the bus stations. If you prefer Uber, just note that they aren't allowed to pick you up from inside the Airport but if you walk over to the Oxxo gas station by the roundabout which is located right outside the airport, they will pick you up from there! (5 min walk)

For a more modern option, there is Hotel Gamma Garden. Staying here will immerse you in the city. It is very close to the main highway with easy access to all interstate highways and located right at the entrance of Colima. 15 minutes from Comala, Col and the Altozano Golf course. Church: 5 minutes Venue: 10 minutes

Travel Note
There are many places to eat and see around Colima and surrounding towns. Besides Colima City, I recommend staying in Comala if you don't mind staying in the outskirts of town. Comala has been nicknamed the "White Village of America" as the facades of the buildings in town have all been painted white since the 1960s. Comala is about 15 minutes from the church where the ceremony will be held, and 25 from the wedding venue! If you are not staying in Comala but have time to visit. Here are some suggestions:
