We're getting married!

Katherine was a Community Lead at WeWork during COVID and Christian's company moved into the WeWork shortly after Kat started. Christian's company was on the second floor and Kat was on the third floor. For some strange reason, EVERY SINGLE MORNING, Christian would visit the third floor for coffee, even though they had the same coffee on the second floor. Over time, Christian and Kat slowly became friends, mostly due to a super outgoing co-worker, Kendall, that would start conversations between the two of them while he was grabbing coffee and mints at the front desk. After two years at WeWork, Christian's company was moving to their permanent office. On the last day, Christian and a couple of his co-workers asked Katherine and Kendall if they could take them out to lunch to thank them for everything that they had done for them. Kat and Kendall were not supposed to leave the desk at the same time, however, Kendall made the executive decision that she was going to make their boss watch the desk and take Christian up on the offer. The lunch went great and Christian happened to pay for Kat, "coincidentally". That same day, Christian and his co-workers went back upstairs and asked Kat and Kendall if they would let them take them to Haywire for drinks. This took A LOT of convincing on Kendall's part because Kat is not a big drinker. However, she reluctantly accepted the invitation and joined Christian for a few drinks. This was the start of their new friend group outside of the office. Over the next few weeks, Christian and Katherine made plans to hang out with the newly formed friend group. They went out together at Earl's on Legacy West and Top Golf. This is where the first sparks started forming. Kat and Christian might not have known what was happening yet but the friend group did. While at Top Golf Farah slid her phone to Kendall with a note written on the Notes App, it read "Does Kat realize that CJ is in love with her LMAO" . The next week, one of Christian's favorite bands at the time, "Grady Spencer and the Works", was coming to play at Lava Cantina in the Colony. He was begging the friend group to come and they were all in, except Kat. She did not want to stay out late that night because the next day she had to get up for a 7AM flight for her sister Shellsea's bachelorette party. Kat was not budging on her stance to stay home and go to sleep early that night. After a lot of pressure and convincing from Kendall and Christian, she FINALLY said yes. If you know Christian, he considers himself a "shy" person. The night was going along and Christian and Kat had been flirting with each other but no move had been made yet. With the help of some liquid courage, Christian asked Kat if she would dance with him. At long last, this is when Christian finally asked Katherine if she would go on a date with him. She said YES. The end of the night came and Christian walked to Kat to her car, said goodbye to her and patiently waited for the first date. NOW WE ARE GETTING MARRIED!!
