Thank GOD a heat wave was gripping the city of Boston in June of 2021. That month, Katherine came for an uncharacteristically impromptu visit to her friend Brooke. After a few short moments on M Street Beach, the girls decided to seek the sweet relief of a window unit AC. Luckily, Brooke's boyfriend, Danny, lived just down the street with a group of friends...including Brad. After a conversation about Lord of the Rings, sparks flew. Soon after, Katherine and Brad went on their first date to get drinks and see the penguins at the New England Aquarium. Four years later, in the same location, Brad asked Katherine to spend the rest of their lives debating whether or not Peter Jackson's Hobbit Trilogy was a money grab, cuddling up to Great British Bake Off, and loving each other as much as humanly possible. Today, they live together in Boston with their dog, Maya, and future cat (name TBD).
