Peter, Eileen, Judy & Louis
We love you & this joyous occasion would not happen without you. We are so grateful for the love, life lessons & values you have instilled in us. Thank you for giving us the trust and the skills to go out into the real world to foster our passions, our skills and our creativity. You have given us the tools to create and shape the marriage that the two of us will use for the rest of our lives z Eli and I are so lucky to have so many role models in our life. Even if you do not have the role of mom& dad, you know who you are. We love you with all of our hearts.
Maid of Honor
Emily is the younger sister of the Bride! Katharine and Emily are about 3 years apart and Kat could not imagine her wedding day without Em. Growing up, the two of them would watch hours of "Say Yes to the Dress" and "Project Runway" together , talking about what their future weddings would look like. Now here we are!
Matron of Honor
Annie has been not only a sister to Kat, but also to Eli. Eli didn't know what he was signing up for when he introduced Annie and Kat. Their friendship started with dance parties in Jack & Eli's apartment and has morphed into dancing at each others weddings. Annie, Aimee and Kat and Eli have been through so many different phases of life with one another and can't imagine life without one another.
Maid of Honor
Aimee and Kat first became friends through Eli. As soon as they met, there was no going back. Kat Aimee and Annie became the fastest of friends and quickly became inseparable. After graduating, Aimee & Kat lived together in Arlington, VA for 3 years .Aimee lights up a room anywhere she goes and gives unconditional love to everyone in her life. Kat & Eli are so lucky.
Bridesmaid & Officiant (aka "Master of Ceremonies")
Next to knowing they wanted to marry eachother, the second easiest decision was figuring out who would marry them. Sadie was the very first person they thought of. First Kat and Sadie were sorority sisters...and now they're real sisters!! Kat & Eli are endlessly grateful for her heart, her wit & humor and cannot wait for all the future phases of life they will walk through together.
Bridesmaid
Catherine was Kat's first friend she made when she moved to Charlotte and holds such a special place in her heart. Yes...they met online on an app for girlies looking to make friends in a new city and it was fate!! After they met in 2021, they created the most amazing group of friends in Charlotte with a lifetime of memories. Catherine is one of the most loyal & driven people you’ll ever meet. Their friend group has even coined a famous phrase, “what would Catherine do?”
Bridesmaid
When they say sororities can bring you your lifetime group of friends, Kat didn't believe it. But boy was she wrong. Haley has been a rock for Kat. Their friendship started in college and has become even stronger since they both moved to Charlotte. Since moving to Charlotte, Haley and Kat have only ever lived half a mile apart. Kat and Haley have a standing monthly date night, where they try something new around the city, whether it be a new restaurant or actvity!
Bridesmaid
Julia and Katharine go back further than most. In 6th grade, Julia was the new girl Kat volunteered to show around. But, when she found out they shared the same birthday, Kat no longer wanted to be friends. Clearly that did not last very long. They have shared some of life's biggest memories together- including school detention & being grounded together. Truly a sister in so many ways.
Best Man
Eli and Jack met back in Jack's bowl cut days of middle school prior to going their separate ways and eventually reuniting playing dorm drinking games during their Freshman year at Virginia Tech. Jack and Eli lived together Sophomore through Senior year and Jack, Annie, Kat, and Eli have remained best friends ever since.
Groomsman
Colton and Eli also met in middle school before reuniting and living together at Collegiate Suites (along with Jack and Joey) for 2 years at Virginia Tech. They later reunited for a stint in Charlotte living together before Colton ditched him for Richmond where Eli and Kat later followed suit. Colton and Kat have patented the "noodle" on the dance floor so keep an eye out for that when the drinks start flowing.
Groomsman
Eli and Joey met during Freshman year tryouts for the Deep Run golf team where for some dumb reason the coach though Joey would be good at golf someday and he made the team and Eli did not (still the only team Eli never made but the coach was an idiot). Joey lived with Eli during those two years at Collegiate Suites as well and have remained the most dynamic duo on the golf course to this day and certainly will never lose to Jack and Colton.
Groomsman
Logan and Eli also met in middle school before reuniting in college at Virginia Tech where Logan was the unofficial 5th roommate of Eli's at Collegiate Suites along with Jack, Colton, and Joey. Logan and Eli share a passion mastering the grill/kitchen every chance they get to cook for the group.
Groomsman
Barret and Eli met during the Summer after Junior year during an internship at Lowe's where Barret's now wife (Cleo) was Eli's intern teammate and the three of them formed a life long friendship. Barret, Cleo, Kat, and Eli can be found hanging out at just about every event in Charlotte from concerts to trivia nights to dinner parties and more.
Groomsman
Brady and Eli met later on in College at Virginia Tech and have remained best of friends catching up on the sticks playing playstation whenever they get the chance. You will most certainly find Brady on the dance floor at the wedding more than likely leading the charge to get folks out there vibing.
Groomsman
Tim and Eli met early on in life against their will due to them being cousins where early on in life Eli was the youngest cousin constantly picking fights he couldn't win with Tim. They along with Tim's brother Nathan have shared season tickets going to Virginia Tech Football games over the years.
Groomsman
Nathan and Eli also met early on in life against their will due to them being cousins where Eli was the youngest cousin constantly picking fights he couldn't win with Nathan. Eli, Nathan, and Tim have shared a common pain and suffering of having season tickets going to Virginia Tech Football games over the years. In Nathan's free time, you can find him applying his green thumb in his backyard.
