Question

CLIMATES TO TRAVEL

Answer

The weather in El Salvador in January is very hot and dry, with average maximum temperatures reaching 95°F and dropping to around 60°F at night. It's important to stay hydrated by drinking water regularly and natural juices. Consider bringing portable neck fans, especially for outdoor activities. We also recommend bringing electrolyte packages to add to your water, such as LMNT.

Question

NAVIGATION and TRANSPORTATION

Answer

Navigation: Recommended to download Waze app for directions, it's accurate and easy. Transportation Preferences: Car Rental: Recommended Vendors: Can be Rented at Airport or online: Hopper, or Expedia. We Recommend booking in advance due to availability. Driving in El Salvador is challenging, but very similar to driving in New York. The City area is more congested compared to roads closer to beaches. Please be very cautious while driving. Private Transportation: For group or individual private transportation, we highly recommend the trustworthy travel agency: Don Bosco Travel. Contact agent Miguel via WhatsApp at (+503) 7820-5478. For pricing and availability, please reach out to the vendor directly via WhatsApp. We recommend scheduling rides in advance.
