We're Getting Married!

We first crossed paths at One Body One Life Gym back in 2017, a place where Joey's dedication and Kat's determination intertwined. Amidst the clinks of weights and the rhythm of workouts, our story began. Kat, having already acquainted herself with the gym's ambiance, had been under the guidance of another trainer for a brief time. Yet, it was Katerin's presence that ignited a spark in Joey. As fate would have it, Joey, known for his personal training, had a connection with Kat through her cousin Edgar. Edgar, the unwitting matchmaker, often would share tales with Joey about his extended family, with Kat being a prominent figure in those narratives. Among the collective of cousins, it was Katerin who captivated Joey's attention. One spontaneous evening, Edgar reached out to Joey, extending an invitation to join them in Bay Shore, where Kat would also be present. Amidst the banter of friends and laughter, our eyes met for the first time. In that moment, the world seemed to fade away, leaving only the echo of our laughter and the warmth of our connection. Spending the night bonding over commonalities and dance we chose to exchange contact information to further getting to know each other. While both shared sporadic conversations with each other it all fizzled out. A year later, Joey's simple gesture of wishing Kat a Happy Birthday on Instagram reignited the embers of our connection. What followed was a whirlwind romance, characterized by sun-kissed days spent on sandy shores, evenings under a star-studded sky, and stolen glances brimming with unspoken affection. In December 2020, our love took on a new depth as we officially declared ourselves as partners in this beautiful dance of life. With each passing day, our bond grew stronger, culminating in a heartfelt proposal by Joey in the golden hues of September 2022 alongside what we recall as the start of our relationship the ocean and sandy shores of Long Island. Following that special moment, we chose to celebrate our love, we gathered our nearest and dearest for an enchanting engagement party, marking the beginning of our journey towards forever. Our shared passions, from the rhythmic cadence of our workouts to the tranquil beauty of the ocean's embrace, have woven a once in a lifetime memory that bind us together. Through laughter, and adventures traveling the world, we have crafted a love story that is uniquely ours.
