this is about a 30 minute drive east of the hotel. It's a really neat safari park where rescued wildlife can roam freely together.

San Diego Zoo Safari Park

For those of you with kiddos, or if you love legos yourself, this park and its structures are quite impressive. This is about 5 minutes from the West Inn, hence there may be little ones inundating the hotel :)

Spectacular sunsets, great beach. It's about 5-10 minutes from the hotel.
