Question

When is the RSVP deadline? Do I need to RSVP?

Answer

The deadline is August 15, 2021 so we can let all our vendors know our final numbers and requests. We do need RSVPs so we can make sure everyone has a seat and food at the Reception!

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We would love for everyone to be able to bring a plus one, but unfortunately due to limited space we are only able to accommodate the number of people on your RSVP. If you have questions, please text Katelyn or Travis.

Are kids invited?

Answer

We love kids, but we have opted for an Adult Only wedding. We would love for this to be your night/weekend off, so you can celebrate with us without worries.

What should we know about parking?

Answer

There is lots of parking in front of the venue. We encourage our guests to designate a sober driver and carpool. We are also providing a shuttle service from The Ambassador Hotel downtown to the venue.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

The attire is semi-formal. Men- Suits, tie and jacket optional. Ladies- slacks, skirts, dresses

What are the wedding colors?

Answer

Our bridesmaids will be wearing burgundy. Our other colors of sage green, gray, ivory, and blush pink

What about shoes?

Answer

We also recommend wearing shoes that are comfortable to dance in as we will be having an amazing DJ putting on a party after dinner.

Can I take pictures during the ceremony with a camera or phone?

Answer

We would like to keep our ceremony tech-free and have everyone enjoy the moment with us. We have 2 photographers and 2 videographers who will be capturing the ceremony. We promise to share photos with everyone!

Will food be served?

Answer

Yes! We are in love with our caterer and are so excited for the fall menu he put together for our wedding. We will be serving Sticky Chicken and Grilled Beef Tenderloin, mashed potatoes, a fall and garden salad, root vegetables, and bread. And of course, cake!

Will there be dancing?

Answer

Definitely! Come prepared to have a great night after all the formal festivities. If you have any must dance to song requests for the wedding please shoot Katelyn or Travis a text in September or include then with your RSVP and we will get it added to our list for the DJ

Will there be any transportation available?

Answer

Yes! We definitely want everyone to be able to have a great time and not have to worry about driving. There will be transportation from Ambassador Hotel in downtown Kansas City to the venue before the wedding and back at the end of the night. If you are interested in transportation, please text Katelyn so we have an accurate head count.
