We met in grade 8, and for years, people always joked that we would end up together. We really got to know each other in grade 10, spending a lot of time in after-school French tutorials as we navigated the ups and downs of high school. Mattias asked Katelyn out, and she said not yet, but he didn’t give up. By the summer before Grade 12, we finally went out on our first date. We have been together ever since! Over nearly 10 years, we have grown together in so many ways. We’ve started our careers, bought a home, and learned to support each other through life’s challenges while figuring out who we are as individuals. We’ve shared countless adventures, celebrated milestones, and built a strong foundation of trust, love, and laughter. Now, feeling ready and a bit more settled, we are thrilled to finally begin this long-awaited chapter, surrounded by the friends and family who have supported us along the way.
