Located minutes from the wedding venue, it’s a great place to shop and grab a bite to eat before the wedding! If you go here, try The Squawking Goat from “Maple Biscuit Company” and Peanut Butter Ice Cream from “Jeni’s Ice Cream.”
Ponce City Market
An old Sears factory turned into a retail market and food hall! Make sure to try Atlanta stables like “El Super Pan’ and “King of Pops.” From here, you can access the amazing Beltline that will lead you to Piedmont Park or Krog Street Market.
Atlanta Botanical Garden
Spend a few hours among the flowers in one of our favorite places in the city. Great for families, couples, and anyone wanting to take a beautiful stroll. Steps away from Piedmont Park and other attractions on the list!
Grant Park Food Tour
Atlanta is known for good Southern cooking. The Grant Park tour is filled with excellent food and a history tour in one of the oldest parts of the city.
Piedmont Park
Atlanta’s miniature Central Park is filled with gorgeous views and tons of places to relax. Take a picnic basket and enjoy the fresh air! Also connected to other attractions on this list.
Centennial Olympic Park
The location of the opening ceremonies of the 1996 Olympics is an epicenter of Atlanta. Steps away from GA Aquarium, World of Coca-Cola, and the Civil Rights Museum.
National Center for Civil and Human Rights
An inspirational and meaningful exhibition of the civil and human rights movements of the past and present. Very moving experience, highly recommended.
Georgia Aquarium
A great way to escape the heat and spend the afternoon. Fun fact, the aquarium holds the largest tank in the world!
World of Coca-Cola
If you're in Atlanta, you are only allowed to drink Coca-Cola. Pepsi is not allowed. Just kidding! It’s a fun exhibition of the history of Coke and you can try over 100 different flavors.
Atlanta History Center
Step inside the history of what makes Atlanta so unique! Filled with artifacts and memorabilia from the movies filmed in the area.
High Museum of Art
For those who want a quiet and unique experience, spend some time at the High Museum of Art. Filled with art from all over the world and is a great cultural experience.
Dahlonega Wineries
About an hour north of Atlanta is the tip of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Known for the wineries and hiking, it’s a great place to spend the Saturday after the wedding. Our favorite spots are Montaluce and Kaya.
Stone Mountain
For the outdoorsy crowd, 30 minutes East of the venue is the largest exposed piece of Granite in the world! Recommend doing it early in the day since it will get quite hot. Bring your hiking boots and tons of water!
