Like any modern age love story, we met on an online dating app! She swiped first but he messaged first. We bonded over Disney tunes and a desire to travel in those early messages. Our first date started the afternoon at the Painted Pin and ended looking at the glittering Atlanta skyline at Ponce City Market. Two weeks later, we officially started dating and it’s history from there!

One of the things we like to do is exploring botanical gardens wherever we go. For a few months we had been wanting to visit Gibbs Gardens in North Georgia and one day Matt insisted we go on a certain day. A couple days before, Matt encouraged me to get my nails done and the morning of, he insisted I wear a nice outfit for “Instagram pics.” We started walking through this lovely garden and all the sudden he pulled me over to this beautiful pond with a willow tree. I was so focused on not stepping in mud that I didn’t realize what was happening. He got down on one knee and I said yes through many tears. We can't wait to celebrate with everyone!
