Karina and Katie met only a few years ago through a mutual friend at the NOLA bachelorette party. Their love for travel, the way they regard their friends and their independent stregth forged a lifelong friendship. She was the security and constant Katie needed over a tougher period in her life when many of her friends had moved away or their lives evolved and provided perspective and guidance early on in her and Layton's relationship.

Maid of Honor
Kim and Katie became friends at St. John's and their love for travel, food, culture and fashion blossomed their friendship into a true partnership. They lived together over the years, moving from one apartment to another, hopping from one hemisphere to another and experiencing everything from Oktoberfest in Munich, to jumping out of an Airplane in Dubai, to scuba diving the Great Barrier Reef and many more. There is no shortage of laughs, memories, or inside jokes between the two. It will always be the Kim & Katie Show.
Mayra
Matron of Honor
Mayra and Katie share a special bond of 'keeping it real.' They met in college at St. John's but their friendship blossomed when many of their college friends had already graduated and they were a year behind. There has never been a time where either of them could not lean on the other for a sanity check. Mayra does what she wants, seeks no approval, and is so graceful while doing it!

Kaitlin and Katelyn are part of 'K' squad which formed during college. Katie and her traveled together post college on many girl trips and have had countless excursions through Kaitlin's Law school years in both Indiana and Baltimore. There is zero shortage of laughs, dancing and ridiculous pictures between the two. She is the tall to the small in this dynamic duo.

Liz and Katie met in college through Kim, Liz's younger sister. Their friendship truly formed when Katie became the third roommate in Kew Gardens and was built upon by their love for soccer and beer gardens, happy hour gallavanting, corporate america power lunches and "48-Hour" Fridays. She is ultimately the older sister Katie never had and never wanted, but loves thoroughly!
Nicole

Nicole and Katie met through a mutual friend a few years back when they were gearing up for a bachelorette party in NOLA. Their friendship is rooted in their love for PA & Pittsburgh, dirty martinis and dancing in bars til the early mornings. After, months of friendship Katie decided to move in with 'Little O' and spent many nights together gallavanting through Astoria and NYC and bonding their friendship far deeper than ever expected!
Susanne

Susanne and Katie also met in college, but found their relationship blossom further post-college when they moved close to one another in Queens and through many trips to tropical paradises. Susanne has always provided a sense of 'calm' to Katie and her exhuberant personality. Susanne recently went through her own wedding planning process and has now acted as a confidante, sounding board and navigant through Katie's many crisis!
Tyler
Best Man
FIREFIGHTER. ROCKSTAR. FISHERMAN. CHIMNEY SWEEP. AND NOW BEST MAN. All things which could describe Tyler. Him and Layton met in 3rd grade and have been best friends ever since. No matter where Layton lived over the years their mutual love for music (Van Halen) and all things Chiefs kept them connected.
Ausker

Ausker was one of the first people Layton met in San Antonio. The two just had moved there from different places and were in the same training class. The two thoroughly enjoyed Thursday Karaoke at Who's Who and rounds of golf after work. He is always there if Layton needs him whether it is meeting in Mexico on vacation, flying into town on his birthday, or just showing up to be the life of the party.
Andy

You might recognize Andy from his leading roles at the Shell Knob theatre, but Layton and Andy's friendship started back at K State. The two have been 'case race' champions, fraternity brothers and roommates over the years. Andy is one of the most generous and fun loving people Layton knows, and is always a great time whether we are at the lake or a Chiefs game!
Nick
Groomsman
Nick was one of the first people to welcome Layton to FIJI and to KC more recently. Anyone who has met him knows at least two things; he loves all things Batman and one of the most genuine people you will ever meet. The two are such close friends they even decided that they would both marry Katies.
Lucas

Lucas is a very successful restauranteur, however, one of his big mistakes professionally was hiring Layton at Dough Boys during college. Layton may not have been the best employee but the two became great friends over the years and ended up being roommates in San Antonio after Lucas talked him into moving there. It was a great idea, Layton may not have ever made it to NYC if it was not for him. He's a great friend and has always been an example of hard work and success.

Jake and Layton met at K State where there were a lot of late nights and early mornings filled with jokes and stories. Jake always is the life of the party and keeps everyone engaged and entertained throughout the nights. He has always welcomed everyone with open arms and is there when you need him. Also can sell your house and find you a new one if you need one!
