Katelyn and Cameron started posting TikTok videos in 2020 to have fun and express themselves as well as their love for anime and pop culture. Little did either of them know that this fun hobby would change both of their lives forever. One day Cameron popped up on her page and Kate asked him if it'd be okay to recreate one of his videos, to which he said yes and they followed each other's pages. What started as a friendly online acquaintance quickly blossomed into a genuine friendship. Countless late-night calls, binge-watching shows, and endless laughter turned that friendship into something much deeper. They made plans to have Katelyn fly out to Pagosa Springs so they could meet each other in person. They officially met on May 22 of 2021 and after spending an unforgettable week together, they both knew what they had was truly special and they became inseparable. For over a year and a half, they managed a long-distance relationship before deciding to make their dream a reality. Kate made the big decision to move to Pagosa to build their life together on August 11th of 2022. Then on May 26, 2025, Cameron asked Katelyn to marry him. They are so excited to celebrate with friends and family witnessing their promise to each other and to the Lord, and are looking forward to raising a family and living the rest of their lives together on a strong foundation based in love and faith.
