We won’t be having a formal ceremony. Our wedding weekend is meant to be relaxed, low-key, and all about spending time with our favorite people. Think of it as a chance to gather, hang out, and celebrate together in a way that feels natural and easy. We’re just really excited to share the weekend (and some good food and good vibes) with you!
We just want folks to be comfy! Since weather in New England can be so unpredictable, we suggest wearing and/or bringing layers as Bad Martha is both an indoor and outdoor space. Wear anything that makes you happy and feel good. There will be a photographer snapping photos, see more info below :)

We totally get that a destination wedding can be a big ask – between flights, ferries, hotels, and time away, it adds up fast. Please know there’s absolutely no pressure to make the trip. If this isn’t the weekend you can celebrate with us, that’s okay! We know there will be plenty of other moments (and dance floors) to toast, laugh, and celebrate together, and we’ll be just as excited to share those moments with you whenever and wherever we can. We love you all very much, no matter what!
Absolutely you can! If staying the whole weekend or even one night isn't ideal for you, you could absolutely make a day trip out of it on Saturday 10/10. Feel free to reach out if you need help with logistics or planning :)
On Friday and Saturday, all food and drinks are on the bride and groom :) There will be allergy friendly items such as, gluten, dairy free, and vegan options for all the days you are able to join us! Please let us know if there are any other allergies we should be aware of and we’ll make sure you’re covered!
We will be providing transportation to and from the welcome dinner on Friday evening, as well as transportation to and from the reception on Saturday afternoon. The hotel is conveniently located in Vineyard Haven around lots of shops and restaurants that folks can walk to! If you'd like to do more exploration of the island, a car would be helpful. If you take a peak at the travel tab, we've highlighted some options to consider!
