September is a great time to visit Park City! We chose this time of year for the beautiful foliage in the mountains. If you're looking for some adrenaline we've had a ton of fun at the Utah Olympic Park. There's also a bunch of hiking trails around Park City and the surrounding areas. Check out AllTrails as a way to find the right trail for you and how to get there. Or take a chairlift up at one of the nearby mountain resorts: Deer Valley, Park City, Solitude, Brighton, or a little further way, Snowbird, and Alta. If you're looking to mountain bike, there's lift service at Park City Mountain Resort (and the Canyons side) for longer rides. Or if you're looking for a bike park check out Solitude Mountain.
Historic Main Street: Window-shop galleries, boutique stores, and grab a coffee or pastry in a charming mountain‑town setting. Gallery Strolls: Enjoy the Last Friday Gallery Stroll—an artsy evening wander with local galleries showcasing new work. Park City Museum or Kimball Art Center: Dig into the town’s mining history, local art, and culture.
Two of great restaurants are Harvest in the mornings and Handle in the evenings. Or for a quick slice of pizza and a beer stop by Davanza's. High West Distillery & Saloon: Sample award‑winning whiskey in a ski‑in, ski‑out distillery setting—don’t miss their signature cocktails. Après‑style bars: Enjoy a laid‑back evening at No Name Saloon or The Cabin.
