A UK electronic travel authorization (ETA) is a digital permit required to enter the UK. It costs about $22 per applicant and lasts for 3 years. It takes up to a week for approval. You can request your ETA through the UK ETA app or at https://www.gov.uk/eta/apply.
For the Friday pub dinner, we recommend tweeds, wools, and comfy sweater attire. For the ceremony and reception, we suggest formal or semi-formal attire with an optional Scottish castle twist. To translate: suits, kilts, and dresses of any lengths (don't worry, the castle will be heated!). Because there are uneven stone stairs in the castle, we suggest leaving the stilettos at home.
