Wait—when and where is the ceremony?

Answer

We're going super-small with our ceremony, so we're only inviting guests to join us for dinner, drinks, and dancing. Our parents and siblings will join us for the ceremony in the morning; you can join the celebration starting at 5:00. See the Schedule page for more details.

Are kids invited?

Answer

We'd appreciate if you only show up with the names listed on your invitation. It might be more fun to take a night off from the kids anyway!

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If your invitation says "and guest", go ahead (but make sure to include their name in your RSVP)! If not, we prefer it's just you.

Is transportation provided between hotels and the reception?

Answer

Unfortunately, we cannot provide transportation to and from the venue, so we recommend identifying a designated driver or making other arrangements. However, there should be plenty of parking available!

What's the dress code?

Answer

Pffff, whatever. We'll be dressed up, so feel free to dress festive or semiformal if that floats your boat. But we want you to be comfortable!

Where should I stay?

Answer

Hop over to the Travel page for some information about local lodging options, including where we have room blocks reserved. Sauk Prairie doesn't have much in the way of hotels, so you may be best off booking something in Middleton just up the highway.

What kind of food will be served?

Answer

There will be some options for everyone at dinner; it won't be plated, so you can choose what you like as you go. If you have dietary restrictions, please let us know so that we can plan to accommodate them! Food will be provided by Vintage Brewing Company.

Are you really getting married at a brewery?

Answer

Yes! The Vintage Brewing Company in Sauk Prairie is a Madison-based, family-owned and -operated brewery, restaurant, and event venue. We both love visiting and touring breweries and trying new beers, we love the Vintage's Madison connection, and the location in our home town on the river is perfect. And, they have some great beers.
