What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Welcome drinks will be available in the courtyard beginning at 4 and our ceremony will begin promptly at 5:00. Please plan to arrive and be seated prior to the ceremony start time.

What is the dress code?

Answer

Semi-formal, Dress to impress! Recommended dress tie or suit, floor or midi dress length. Florals and light colors encouraged. However, we would love to see you in anything that makes you feel comfortable.

What's the weather like over there?

Answer

August can be hot or mild, but typically dry. The average temperature for August 29th is 80 degrees. Our ceremony is planned to be outdoors, with weather permitting, but our following reception will be held in the air conditioned gymnasium.

When should I fly in?

Answer

We would love to see you the whole holiday weekend, but we understand everyone's needs will be different. Please allow for flight delays, cancellations, and time zone changes when considering your travel arrangements. We would recommend at minimum Wednesday through Sunday and are happy to recommend local entertainment and activities for longer stays.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

We do! Our Ceremony & Reception will be held at the McMenamins Kennedy School hotel. We will have a room block available for our guests if you would like to stay on site. We've also included a list of other local hotels in the travel section of our website.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

For everyone's convenience, all wedding events will take place at Kennedy School, where we have a hotel block available for our out of town guests. Should guests choose alternative accommodations they will need to arrange transportation.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We are planning an intimate setting, invitations were sent out to all requested guests. Unfortunately, we will not be able to accommodate additional people.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Adequate lot parking is available behind the hotel, additional street parking is available if needed.

Your presence is our present Seriously! We are so grateful that you all would take time out of your busy lives to come celebrate with us. For anyone compelled to contribute additionally our registry is linked on our wedding website.
