In the year 2001, an actor by the name of Orlando Bloom became the sole focus of a young Kate Diederich’s heart in The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring. Kate had found the man she wanted to marry, an elf prince who was 2,931 years old. Alas, silly Orlando was always going out with the wrong Kates. He dated Kate Bosworth in the aughts and most recently he’s been tied to Katy Perry.
Kate Diederich wasn’t going to let her dream of marrying an older man from Lord of the Rings just slip away. In Matt, she has found her consolation prize that most closely resembles Gollum from the movies.
