Mexican Independence Day NoteMexican Independence Day Note

Mexican Independence Day is on September 16th, but celebrations begin the weekend before, which coincides with our wedding weekend. Parades and celebrations concentrated in the city often lead to road closures at night. This results in heavy traffic and longer travel times for those traveling to or from downtown Chicago. If you're traveling from downtown Chicago to the suburbs on Friday night, or heading back into the city after the wedding on Saturday night, please be aware that there may be delays due to the festivities.
