Yes! All guests must be fully vaccinated (and boosted) against COVID 19 to attend. Kevin and Kate have close family members with medical conditions that make VERY at risk for COVID and we want our celebration to be one where everyone can feel safe. Children under the age of 5 who are ineligible for the vaccine are still welcome to attend the wedding.
Please wear shoes that you feel comfortable walking up steep, gravel slopes. High heels are not recommended.
The closest amenities to the wedding venue is about an hour away in the City of Eureka. The family ranch is located out in the hills east of Eureka and there will be no public services in the immediate vicinity. Cell service is hit or miss at the ranch and on the road leading up to the ranch.
Traditionally, at a ranch wedding we encourage folks to wear their nicest jeans and boots. If jeans and boots aren't your style, chinos or slacks with a collared shirt are encouraged. Sport coats are welcome, but not necessary. For folks that prefer dresses, summer dresses are appropriate. Please bring layers and comfortable shoes so that you can party into the night with us! tldr: a step below cocktail pair with shoes you feel comfortable walking on gravel.
DO NOT TAKE HIGHWAY 36. Navigate to Eureka first and then you can use google maps to take you to the ranch (18581 Kneeland Rd, Kneeland CA) via Kneeland Road. Signs will be posted along Kneeland Road to help guide those who have not visited before.
If you are planning on drinking, you MUST plan on camping. If you are not familiar with the road, you should plan on either camping or leaving before it gets dark. Breakfast will be provided for all who camp.
The bridesmaids will be wearing burgundy-wine colored attire and the groomsmen will be wearing plum.
We are decorating our home with soothing cool tones (light greys, blues, light purples, with touches of pale greens). Please see the registry for color tones and ideas.
