We met at Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo. We both lived on the same floor of the engineering dorms and met in the study lounge. We disagree on what was our first date. Kevin believes it was when Kate invited him (as a part of a group) to eat at one of the dining halls on campus. Kate believes (correctly) that it was when Kevin invited her to go play raquetball at the Rec Center. Either way, we became inseparable and have been together for over 7 years.
