Our first date was at Mighty Squirrel Brewery on September 3, 2022, where we instantly bonded over our shared UMass Amherst roots (fun fact: we both lived in the same Greenough dorm room — just four years apart!). What started as a simple first date, quickly became something much more. One year later, we moved in together, building a wonderful life with Ethan and Owen (Ken’s two hilarious boys), Clifford (our sweet and goofy dog), and Crème (our feisty and cranky cat). Traveling together has become one of our greatest joys. Our first trip, just two months after we met, took us to Puerto Rico, and we've been adventuring ever since. But we cherish the small, everyday moments just as much: walking the dog, tinkering in the yard, trying new restaurants or simply enjoying a quiet night in. Three years to the day after that first date, on September 3, 2025, Ken asked Kate to marry him. We are now happily engaged and so excited for you to celebrate with us on our wedding day, helping us create even more special memories.
