Flight
The flight to Bermuda (L.F. Wade International Airport - St George's) is especially easy from the East Coast! JFK and Newark fly direct, typically in under 2 hours. There are also direct flights from Washington - Reagan and London, as well as other cities. We strongly suggest booking flights early as airfares to Bermuda tend to increase significantly over time, plus airlines are currently waiving change fees. Passports are needed for all, including infants.

Travel Note
At the airport, taxi drivers typically wait at the taxi stand just beyond the main exit. If a taxi is not there, you can call Bermuda Island Taxi (tel. +1 441-295-4141) or BTA Dispatching (+1 441-296-2121) or another taxi or car service. Hotels also typically have taxis waiting outside or the bellman or front desk can call you one. Many taxis do not take credit card, so please remember to take out cash. ATMs are located at the airport (in between customs and the baggage claim), in downtown Hamilton, and at many of the hotels (including Hamilton Princess). Bermuda dollars and US dollars are typically used interchangeability on the island, and taxi drivers will usually accept either. Bermuda also has a public bus system. See: https://www.gov.bm/bus
Travel Note
Car rentals are not permitted on the island, but you can rent mopeds from the vendors listed on this page (https://www.gotobermuda.com/article/getting-around-bermuda-on-motor-scooters-pedal-bikes) and small electric cars from the vendors listed in the link below. We typically use Oleander Cycles for mopeds. While mopeds and electric cars are a fun way to explore the island or to get to daytime activities, we do not recommend using them as transportation to get to the ceremony or reception, as we do not recommend riding them at night.
