A marraige 10 years in the making!

Kate, dressed as a hippie, went to a Halloween party with a friend. The party consisted of many people she did not know and her one friend. But low-and-behold there was Gable, dressed as (ahem) an enhanced construction worker? Sure, that's what we'll call it. It was love at first sight, obviously. Been together ever since!

The proposal is pretty embarrassing (well, for Kate!). We went to Chicago for a long weekend to explore the city and see a concert. We ate, we drank, we explored. Kate had a feeling Gabe might propose on the trip. We went to see our friend's band, Polyenso. We love their music and have seen them in Chicago before. We started consuming adult beverages, and Kate became emotional. During one of the opening acts, Kate started to cry. Gable asked what as wrong. "I was really hoping you would propose to me on this trip," Kate said. "Well, I was planning on it..." Gable says as he pulls out the ring. "Will you marry me?" Way to go, Kate!
