Short Answer: NOT WHITE. Long Answer: For the ceremony and reception, the dress code is formal/cocktail. Suits and ties, pantsuits, and elegant knee-, midi-, or floor-length cocktail dresses are all welcome. Please no denim or khaki. For the Welcome Event and Send-Off Breakfast, wear whatever you'd like--casual is more than welcome.
Not yet! RSVPs won't be live until invitations go out in July. You'll likely have until September 1 to RSVP, but stay tuned.
Our ceremony will be in a covered outdoor space, and the cocktail hour and reception will have both indoor and outdoor spaces, as weather permits!
While we love the many children in our lives, and we would enjoy seeing them throughout the rest of the weekend (including the Welcome Event and Send-Off Breakfast), our ceremony and reception will be adults-only.
Our dinner menu will have a vegan and gluten free option. If you have food restrictions beyond these, including allergies, please feel free to reach out to us so we can try to plan an accommodation.
The venue has a large parking lot, and additionally there will be shuttle service set up from Hotel LBI and the Holiday Inn at the Mainland to and from the venue. More information to come on that.
We will not be having a bridal shower, for a few reasons! As much as it would be lovely to see loved ones and celebrate together, there would be a lot of travel involved and many people will already be traveling to the wedding. Residency also does not allow for much time away, so scheduling would be quite tricky. Overall, we would rather see everyone at the wedding!
