FAQs

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

Short Answer: NOT WHITE. Long Answer: For the ceremony and reception, the dress code is formal/cocktail. Suits and ties, pantsuits, and elegant knee-, midi-, or floor-length cocktail dresses are all welcome. Please no denim or khaki. For the Welcome Event and Send-Off Breakfast, wear whatever you'd like--casual is more than welcome.

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please reply by August 31 so we have enough time to finalize the count for our vendors!

Question

Will we be outside?

Answer

Our ceremony will be in a covered outdoor space, and the cocktail hour and reception will have both indoor and outdoor spaces, as weather permits!

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love the many children in our lives, and we would enjoy seeing them throughout the rest of the weekend (including the Welcome Event and Send-Off Breakfast), our ceremony and reception will be adults-only.

Question

What if I have a food restriction?

Answer

Our dinner menu will have a vegan and gluten free option. If you have food restrictions beyond these, including allergies, please feel free to reach out to us (and definitely let us know in your RSVP) so we can try to plan an accommodation.

Question

What kind of parking or transportation is there?

Answer

The venue has a large parking lot, and additionally there will be shuttle service set up from Hotel LBI and the Holiday Inn at the Mainland to and from the venue. The first trip will have 4:00pm pickup for the ceremony (there will be two trips) and will make several runs starting at 9:30pm back to the hotels. The last trip will be around 12:30am, after the after-party.

Question

Will there be a bridal shower?

Answer

We will not be having a bridal shower, for a few reasons! As much as it would be lovely to see loved ones and celebrate together, there would be a lot of travel involved and many people will already be traveling to the wedding. Residency also does not allow for much time away, so scheduling would be quite tricky. Overall, we would rather see everyone at the wedding!
