Point Robinson Lighthouse

3705 Southwest Point Robinson Road, Vashon, WA 98070
, (206) 463-9602

The Point Robinson Park and Lighthouse is considered to be the most popular attraction in all of Vashon Island. It spans a whopping 10 acres wide and is located on the east shore of Maury Island. Many people love to come here to see everything that it has to offer. For instance, this area is home to the Point Robinson Lighthouse, which is a historic lighthouse built back in 1914. It is the most famous feature here at this park as it towers over the area and makes for one of the most interesting pictures you’ll have ever seen. And what’s great about this lighthouse is that it has provided lighthouse services for water vessels that are floating around in the dark since 1885. And the beautiful sandy beach that surrounds the shoreline also offers some truly beautiful views of the area.

Dockton Park

9500 Southwest Dock Street, Vashon, WA 98070
, (206) 477-6150

Dockton Park is considered to be one of the most beautiful places in the area as it offers a picturesque picnic area and also a beach where people can swim around in. Plus, it also offers many areas for people to enjoy a picnic and just take in the views that surround them. And it’s not just the park that is special too, as there is a town located just minutes away by walking and offers a lot more insight to the area. For instance, visitors can stroll around through the town and read the signs and various exhibits stationed around to learn more about the history of Dockton as well. Just note that the walk begins with a large hill and that there are no sidewalks available.
