Matron of Honor
My best friend, Brooke and I met when were attending Tarleton State University. We had one class together freshman year and every once in a while we would see each other in the dorm hallways and start talking. By the time we got to our sophomore year, we were best friends and roomed together for a semester. There are so many stories and memories that Brooke is in and I would not be the person I am without her ! I was lucky enough to stand with her on her wedding day in June and i can’t wait for her stand beside me in November. Thank you for forever being bridesmaid material! ❤️.Love you Brookie!!
Bridesmaid
What happens when you put the oldest child and the only child together..... sometimes it was a battle. My oldest cousin, Paige, and I would always fight and fuss about who got to be Blossom when we were playing the Powerpuff girls. She said she should be Blossom because she had red hair. But as the only child, i usually got my way and she decided to be Bubbles. Poor Maggie always had to be Buttercup. In spite of our squabbles, she was also my protector and friend. She would test her makeup skills on me and also would let me hold her hand when we road on rollercoasters (not a fan of them!). She is one of a kind and I’m so happy she’s one of my bridesmaids! Love you Paige!!!
Bridesmaid
My younger cousin Maggie has never been a follower.... she’s unpredictable and loves to try new things. Some of my favorite memories of our childhood include us making our own money, playing house and kitchen, and our silly game of saying the word LOCK about a million times so the monster wouldn’t get us! She always finds a way to amaze me with the things she does and I’m so ready to see her in her bridesmaid dress! Love you Maggie!!
Bridesmaid
I remember when my cousin Emma was born, my mom asked me what I thought they should name her. Since she was born on the 4th of July, and the fact that I was only 5 years old, I decided she should be named Sparkling Sky! When she was little, i don’t think she liked me much (she really didn’t like anybody other than her mom and dad and “gawba”), but that changed when she was about 6 or 7.... From that point on, we were practically always together and have picture of us with matching earrings and ribbons in our hair. She is one of the sassiest girls I know, which is probably why we get along so well! I can’t wait to see how pretty she is at the wedding!! Love you Emma and remember.... CHOCOLATE SHAKE (inside joke 🤣)
Bridesmaid
As the youngest and last of the five granddaughters, my cousin Maya was different in a cool way. She was never swayed by peer pressure to go along with the rest of the cousins. She does her thing and I respect her so much for that. She never wanted to play dress up or other “girly” games, she was content with sticks, rocks and dirts and creating things. As we have gotten older, I’ve gotten the privilege to witness her very funny sarcasm and the fact that she’s always got something to say..... whether it’s appropriate for the dinner table or not ! She also is an amazing artist and, hopefully, you will get to see some of her work at the wedding! Love you Maya!(ok)
Best Man
My cousin Jonathan was always shy and quiet when we were growing up, however, he got a little more loud and rambunctious when were together. We were like brothers growing up; I was over at his house every weekend. We would ride bikes, and play video games and get in trouble all in one weekend! As he’s grown up, he a little less shy, really funny, and I’m so happy he’s standing by my side !
Groomsman
Shaun is another cousin that I grew up with and every time I’m with him I can’t stop laughing. He’s more of a standup comedy kind of guy; you honestly never know what’s about to come out of his mouth! When you see him at the wedding , be prepared to laugh!
Groomswoman
Helen started as just another coworker, but, thankfully, working together lead to her becoming one of my best friends. We take turns making each other laugh at work! I think one of her favorite things to do at work is find places to hide and try’s to scare me! She usually fails because of her giggling, but she’s gotten me really good a couple of times. I can count on her for practically anything and I’m so happy she said yes to being my grooms woman!
Flower Girl
Even though we don’t live too far apart, my cousin, Chloe and i don’t get to see each other that often. When we do, she always wants to play games or play with the Snapchat filters. She was so excited when I asked her to be my flower girl. She can’t wait to be a princess with a tiara. When she tried on her dress, she kept twirling around. She loves to dance....so watch out for her on the dance floor! Love you Chloe!
