So my mom and her best friend, Tammy, told me they wanted to go see the lake where davids mom lived to potentially have a bridal shower there. Keep in mind not even engaged yet lol. So we go down to conroe and get something to eat and they are being very weird about me being on my phone and then david texts me looking for his keys so he could “go to the store “ for candy (which he hates) and i was like thats strange, well we pull up to her house to get the key to go out to the lake and April (davids mom) had just pulled up saying she forgot the key and had go get it . So i was in my detective mode lol , we get to where the gate is and im expecting to see davids car but didnt so i was like maybe its all in my head and just kept walking to the gate . As soon as i walked through the gate i began to hear Marry You by Bruno Mars on a stereo and thats when i knew! David was out on the dock looking so handsome and it practically took me forever to get to him it felt like and he holds my hands and i could tell he was very nervous ( he had forgotten his words ) , so finally he gets back on track and we are both tearing up and then he gets on one knee and says the magical words WILL YOU MARRY ME? and of course i said YES! The sun was setting and it was gorgeous outside ! Thats when i figured out tammy was the photographer and my mom was supposed to do the video but forgot to press the button🤦🏻‍♀️ but the pictures were perfect!
