Question

What is the dress code for the wedding?

Answer

Beach formal: dresses and light weight suits are encouraged, but please wear what you feel most comfortable in! Comfortable shoes are encouraged because there will be LOTS of dancing! -Men: suit with or without jacket/tie, khaki pants with a button-down shirt, closed toed shoes or sandals, etc. Please no shorts :) -Women: cocktail dresses, beachy/flowy dresses, skirts/shirt, wedges, espadrilles, nice sandals, etc. We do not recommend wearing stilettos to the ceremony. There are a bunch of sandy areas around the resort, so women should opt for chunky heels or sandals. Of course, feel free to take your shoes off when the dancing starts!

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

As much as we love your little ones, we are having a kids-free wedding so parents can relax and enjoy their adult time. However, we recognize that some of you will be traveling with your kids, so please know they are welcome at Hotel Xcaret! The hotel recommends the Xiquillos Kids Club on-site, as well as Kangaroo Kids Club, a highly rated local babysitting service: http://babysitting.com.mx/

Question

Will COVID-19 tests be available?

Answer

Yes! When you check in at Hotel Xcaret, you will need to schedule an appointment to take a FREE COVID-19 antigen test approximately 24 hours before you depart/leave to go home. A test is currently required for all travelers returning to the US.

Question

What will the weather be like?

Answer

Daily high temperatures range from 84°F to 87°F. Daily low temperatures range from 65°F to 67°F. Bring your bathing suits and lots of sunblock!

Question

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Both! Our wedding ceremony and cocktail hour will be outdoors at Caleta Fuego. Our reception will be indoors (dinner) and outdoors (dancing) on the beach at Cuevas Kayak.
