The Pearl Street Mall is a four block pedestrian mall in Boulder, and is only a couple of blocks from the St Julien Hotel & Spa. Along this stretch are numerous local shops, restaurants, bars, art, and street performers. This is the heart of Boulder, and a great place for all ages to walk and visit businesses, or just take in the scenery!

Coors Brewery Tour

Only 35 minutes from Boulder by car, the Coors brewery in Golden, CO is the original location for the company, and is the largest single brewing facility in the world. Tours are offered most days, and reservations can be made on their website. Estes Park

While most of the higher elevation trails close in the winter, there are still places to get out and explore. Estes Park is an hour drive from Boulder and right on the edge of Rocky Mountain National Park. The town offers scenic views, along with The Stanley Hotel – A famous hotel featured in several movies.

Fall is one of the best seasons in Colorado, and you should definitely get out and look at the leaves changing colors at this time. Below are some great areas in Boulder to either drive or walk and take in some fantastic scenic views! Mapleton Hill - One of Boulder’s most historic and beautiful neighborhoods, Mapleton Hill bursts with fall color each year. Stroll Mapleton Avenue between Broadway and 4th Streets to admire the stately homes and old-growth trees. Mesa Trail - The south end of the Mesa Trail is a great place to walk among the turning leaves. Yellow cottonwoods and red sumac are prevalent in this area. The trailhead is on the north side of Eldorado Springs Drive. Wonderland Lake - A gentle loop trail at Wonderland Lake provides reflecting views of the golden cottonwoods and the Flatirons in the distance.
