we're getting married!

It all began with a travel nurse contract at Rhode Island Hospital and a series of "Make Your Own" glass classes. As Becca was finding her footing in a new city on her own, she stumbled upon a glass hot shop and awoke a love for glass art. She shared this new-found love with anyone she could, not knowing that she was about to really find a love like she'd never known. Walking into Gather Glass for her fourth glass experience, this time with her friend Mike, Becca noticed she'd never taken a class with the teacher who greeted them. And the teacher who greeted them? There was an instant (and obvious, according to Mike) connection. Becca spent the whole class chatting with this teacher, who informed her about a new time slot for the Intro to Glassblowing course that not only worked with Becca's night shift schedule, this teacher would be instructing! It was only when Becca got home to email the studio about signing up for the class did Becca realize she'd been so enraptured by the teacher, she'd never gotten her name. Luckily, the manager Matt knew that "the really cool teacher" was Kate. Becca and Kate spent 4 weeks of one-on-one time in the hot shop, and Becca was head-over-heels for Kate. Their class was the highlight of her week. Little did she know, Kate was feeling the same! And after Becca chickened out of giving Kate her number 4 weeks in a row, Kate saved the day and gave Becca her's. They ended up going on their first date New Year's Eve, a party which Becca definitely called out of work to attend, and are now living happily ever after!
