We're getting married!

Just like the old rhyme says...It all began in high school, where Aaron, a seasoned senior, tried his best to catch the eye of his future bride-to-be. Despite his efforts, his charm (but most likely his maturity) wasn’t quite enough to win her over—at least not yet. Life after high school took them on separate journeys: Kate became a world wanderer, chasing sunsets and new adventures, while Aaron a university dropout. Their paths seemed destined to diverge for good, though unbeknownst to Aaron, Kate had quietly kept him in her sights all along and always seemed to be in the know of who Aaron was seeing at the time... Call it fate or pure serendipity, but in the spring of 2016, their paths crossed again, this time at TRU in their hometown of Kamloops, both chasing dreams of their future. Aaron was reminded of his Great White Buffalo from years past, and It took a few tries (and some more persistence on Aaron’s part), but Kate finally gave him the chance he'd been waiting for. And with that, their real adventure began—a journey that proved good things truly do come to those who wait. From frat-boy-style living with a rotating cast of roommates (and uninvited rats) at UBC to surviving long-distance, parallel undergraduate degrees, a global pandemic, and the chaos of raising a puppy in the city, these two have lived a lifetime of memories already. Now firmly rooted in one of the world’s most expensive cities living the DINK (Dual Income, No Kids) lifestyle, they continue their greatest endeavour: the life long pursuit of love, joy, ecstasy and each other. Today Aaron is a Senior Electronics Engineer at Miraterra, and Kate an Emergency Nurse at both St Paul's Hospital and VGH. We cant wait for you to celebrate our special day with us!
