Waterfront Park is a 8-acre park along approximately one-half mile of the Cooper River in the heart of downtown Charleston, called the French Quarter District. Waterfront park has Charleston harbor water views plus a large lawn, walkways & 2 fountains. The busy French Quarter, in Charleston’s original walled city, is home to the 19th-century Charleston City Market, selling clothing, crafts, and artwork, with the Confederate Museum in the old Market Hall. African-American history is recounted at the Old Slave Mart Museum on the site of slave auctions.

Dining options: some of the couple's favorite spots on Sully's are: Poe's Tavern, Mex 1 Coastal Cantina, and the Obstinate Daughter.
