Sarah is Katarina's older sister, best friend, and travel companion. She's an all-around phenomenal and whimsical human being who does brave things like move to a different city just to get a change of pace. We've always admired and loved her passion for adventure, her all-consuming phases of new-found interests, and her endless support for us individually, as well as a couple.
Michael Meier
Best Man
Michael and Tim met their first year of college at Rockhurst's freshman retreat. They quickly bonded over their similarities: they were both Eagle Scouts with similar troop numbers, both played trombone, and both love baseball (but support different NL teams). They hit it off so well that they ended up living together the next four years. We love and appreciate Michael's sense of humor and fierce loyalty.
Alex Greathouse

Alex and Katarina met in high school, but didn't become close friends until college. Over the years they've supported and celebrated each other (usually with tacos, sushi, wine, or quality cinema like Burlesque, Elf, or The Proposal). When Alex first met Tim, she threatened his life if he ever hurt Katarina (which Katarina only found out about a few years into dating Tim). We love Alex's excitement and passion for everything as well as her endless supply of puns and dad jokes.
Joe Anello

Joe is one of Katarina and Tim's mutual friends that they both met before ever knowing each other. Katarina met Joe in the 6th grade and Tim met him in college. Even though they each met Joe at separate life stages, both feel like their friendship with Joe flourished through college and beyond. We love Joe because he is a great friend who is always up for a life chat--be it joys or struggles, he's always willing to lend his time or assistance, and he's always eager to play the devil's advocate (even when he probably shouldn't).
Chelsea Meier

Chelsea and Katarina met when they joined the same sorority in college, where they both held leadership roles together. They ended up living together off and on for a few years during and after college. They both enhance each other's introvert tendencies, allowing them to appreciate each other's presence while also doing fun things like reading books, crafting, and planning life things. We love Chelsea's opinionated and competitive personality.
Jeff Peak
Groomsman
Jeff is Tim's oldest brother. Jeff is a very intentional, supportive, and intelligent human who cares deeply for everyone around him. Tim appreciates that Jeff was always an influential supporter when Tim started developing a new path for himself. Jeff was especially instrumental in helping Tim to pass his nursing boards and find a nursing job with pointed (and appreciated) check ins about job hunting. We are thankful for Jeff's encouragement, guidance, and presence.
Jackie Peak
Bridesmaid
Jackie is Tim's sister-in-law who has fit right into the Peak family. She is an opinionated, fun, passionate person who always brings a new perspective to any situation. Jackie has always made Katarina feel welcome and included in the family and Tim loves seeing how happy she and Scott make each other. We love her for her humor, her take charge attitude, and her unapologetic sense of self.
Scott Peak
Groomsman
Scott is the middle brother in the Peak family. The two became closer when Tim was in high school and Scott was in college. Tim credits his fascination for tech to Scott, who was always very tech savvy. Tim is very thankful to have such a good older brother who always has his back, no matter how big or small the situation is. We appreciate Scott's love for good coffee and good drinks, his warm personality, and that he always makes time to listen and catch up.
Abby Hughes

Abby is Tim's older sister and is an incredibly thoughtful and compassionate person with a knack for organization. Tim feels that he had a special bond with Abby growing up because it seemed like she always made time for him--like trips to 7-Eleven for slushies after he got out of school, cheering him on at swim meets, or stopping by after work when Tim was the only child still at home. We're thankful for her constant love and support from California. Katarina can't wait to have another sister.
Andy Hughes

Andy is Tim's brother-in-law, but has always really just felt like another one of his brothers. Ever since Abby and Andy got together, Tim has looked up to him as a role model. Tim has loved getting to know Andy, having him as part of the family, and bonding over technology. Andy is a big-hearted, funny, and welcoming person who has always been supportive. We appreciate his quick wit, his compassion for others, and his love for adventure.
Roux Grey
Honor Attendant
Roux is Katarina's younger sibling. With a 10 year age gap, they did not get along when Roux was younger. However, that changed once Katarina went to college. As they've grown older, they continue to find more things they have in common with their love of reading and writing, their shared sense of humor, and their intense love for dogs. Roux is an incredibly intelligent individual who always makes us laugh and is never afraid to speak their mind.
Michael Waller

Michael is Katarina's younger brother. Katarina has loved watching Michael grow into the caring, accepting, and crazy smart man he is becoming. He is a very supportive brother and friend and doesn't seem to ever be swayed by peer pressure. Katarina and Michael probably get into the most trouble together because of their propensity for jokes and pranks when they're together. We appreciate his love for sports, his willingness to try new things with us, and his quiet humor.
