While you’re in the region, we highly recommend visiting some of Andalusia’s classic white pueblos, known for their charming whitewashed buildings and stunning hilltop views. These picturesque towns, like Grazalema, Arcos de la Frontera, Medina Sedonia, and Zahara de la Sierra, offer a true taste of traditional Andalusian life and are perfect for a scenic day trip. They’re full of history, cobblestone streets, and postcard-worthy views—don’t miss the chance to explore one (or a few) while you’re here!

Travel Notes

AN, Spain

Flamenco Andalusia is the birthplace of Flamenco, so while you're here, try to catch a live Flamenco show. Cities like Seville, Granada, and Málaga have plenty of show options, and it’s a wonderful way to experience the region’s soul and culture. Food & Drink Andalusia is a food lover’s paradise! Be sure to try some local dishes while you explore: Paella (mixta or seafood) Cazón en Adobo Pescado Frito Gazpacho or Salmorejo Gambas al Ajillo Local cheeses (Payoyo is our favorite) When it comes to drinks, Andalusia doesn’t disappoint! Here are our recommendations: Tinto de Verano (the local version of Sangria) Local wines Sherry (try the sweet varieties!) Vermouth Cruzcampo (Andalusia’s famous beer brand)
