The ceremony and reception will be held at Abades Ronda, a beautiful venue with stunning views of the city and countryside. P.º Blas Infante, 1, 29400 Ronda, Spain
The wedding is formal attire, but we want you to feel comfortable in what you like—there’s no need to match a specific color scheme. Since the wedding will be on a warm summer evening, feel free to dress light and airy. And most importantly, don’t forget your dancing shoes!
We have blocked rooms in three hotels in Ronda with special price offers for a 3-night stay. These hotels include the Parador de Ronda, Catalonia Ronda Hotel, and Catalonia Reina Victoria Hotel. Full details about booking and rates can be found in the travel section of our website. If these hotel options don’t suit your needs, we recommend checking Booking.com for other hotel or rental apartment options. There are usually more shared apartment options available on Booking.com compared to Airbnb. You'll find plenty of great choices within walking distance of the wedding venue, right in the heart of Ronda.
Ronda is known for hot summers with warm, pleasant evenings. In August, expect highs of around 91°F/33°C and lows of about 68°F/20°C—plan for the warmer side! We recommend packing: Light summer clothes Comfortable walking shoes (cobblestone streets everywhere!) Sunglasses Hats If you plan to explore more of Andalusia during your trip, make sure to pack accordingly for your duration and plenty of sunshine.
No, we won’t be providing transportation. While there are train and bus options available for traveling to Ronda, they may not be as convenient as in other cities in Spain. To ensure the smoothest experience, we highly recommend renting a car. We recommend checking Booking.com for car rental options, as there are many available. If you decide to travel without a rental car, you can consider using a taxi service. For your convenience, you can contact a Ronda local taxi service at +34 622 22 36 18.
Yes! We have a few fun activities planned leading up to the big day. Since the wedding is on Sunday, we’ve organized events for Friday and Saturday: Friday evening: Welcome drinks during sunset. (location to be announced) Saturday morning: A guided hike down the Tajo of Ronda led by the bride's brother Jonathan, where you’ll enjoy stunning views of the city and countryside. Saturday afternoon: Wine and olive oil tasting at La Organic, just a short drive from Ronda. You’ll have the option to taste olive oil, wine, or both, followed by a guided tour of the olive groves. If you’d like to stay for lunch, advance reservations are required. For a full overview of the weekend’s events, please check out the Wedding Weekend tab on our website.
