Shuttle

There will not be parking available at the ceremony and reception site. Please plan to take a shuttle from either the Bayside Resort or Hunters Green. NEW SHUTTLE INFORMATION Bayside Resort at 3:45 and 4:00pm Hunters Green at 3:50 and 4:05 The reception goes until 11pm. But after dinner at 9pm a shuttle will run from the reception site back to the hotels for those that want to call it an earlier night. LYFT If you miss the shuttle you can grab a Lyft or call for a taxi. Use Point Gammon Lighthouse as you navigation destination. When you reach the gate/guard house tell them you are attending the Vecchio duPont wedding at the lighthouse. You will need to give all traffic leaving the area the right of way when you are arriving. There are areas to pull over to let people go by if needed. You will not be able to take a Lyft home from the reception directly. Instead take a hotel shuttle (15 min ride) then call for a car at the hotel.

DRIVING Taking I-84 is the best way to go if you are driving from NYC. Google maps is going to insist you take I-95, DON'T DO IT the traffic on 95 is always bad. We suggest putting Blue Colony Diner in Newtown, CT as you destination first, it makes a good mid-way stop and once you are there if you then enter your final Cape Cod address Google Maps will rout you up 84. It is at least a 6 to 7 hour trip! Google Maps will try to tell you it's just under 5 hours. This is a lie. BUS You can take a bus from NYC to Hyannis Then take a cab to your hotel. https://peterpanbus.com/ TRAIN/CAR or BUS To miss the NYC traffic you can take Amtrak to Providence and then pick up a rental car near the train station. The drive from Providence is about three hours. This can actually be faster than only driving. You can also take the train to Boston and then take a bus from there (see below). FLIGHT You can sometimes find cheap flights from JFK to the Barnstable Airport Then grab a cab to your hotel.

BUS Plymouth & Brockton have a Boston to Hyannis bus https://www.p-b.com/ From Hyannis you would need to take a cab to your hotel. Google Maps provides reliable driving directions from Boston.
