Things To Do

The Wedding Website of Kathleen Dempsey and Malcolm Joy
We love West Palm Beach because there are so many options right at our fingertips! Here are a few of our favorite recommendations during your time here.

The Square

700 South Rosemary Avenue, West Palm Beach, FL 33401
, (561) 366-1000

There are a lot of shopping & food options here. We recommend City Cellar Wine Bar & Grill, True Food Kitchen, or PLANTA!

South Lake Trail

South Lake Trail, Palm Beach, FL 33480

Kat & Malcolm frequent this trail on walks and runs. It's a beautiful trail that showcases a giant kapok tree and the West Palm Beach city skyline.

Visit Palm Beach - Land & Water Tours and Activities

226 Datura Street, West Palm Beach, FL 33401
, (561) 881-9757

Great spot in downtown that offers land & water tours and activities. Visit Palm Beach is an expert navigator and premier provider of recreational activities, tours, excursions, rentals & events in the beautiful Palm Beaches! Offering catamaran sightseeing, sunset & specialty cruises, jet skis, kayaks, paddle boards, snorkeling, Peanut Island adventures, e-scooters, biking, fishing, history & nature tours, and many more things to do, see and enjoy!!

Norton Museum of Art

1450 South Dixie Highway, West Palm Beach, FL 33401
, (561) 832-5196

If you are looking for more artsy things to do, this is a fantastic museum that was semi-recently remodeled. We both highly recommend it! The Museum’s permanent collection consists of more than 8,200 works in five curatorial departments: European, American, Chinese, Contemporary and Photography. Of the many distinguished pieces, there you’ll find masterpieces such as Stuart Davis's New York Mural and Jackson Pollock's Night Mist. And if you're into art, don't forget to check out the wall murals all throughout Downtown West Palm Beach.

Royal Poinciana Plaza

Royal Poinciana Plaza, Palm Beach, FL 33480

Kat is very obsessed with this place! It's worth a visit from an aesthetic standpoint alone. Grab a coffee at Celis Produce or some gelato from Sant Ambroeus and just walk around to take in some of the beautiful storefronts.

Seafood Bar

1 South County Road, Palm Beach, FL 33480
, (877) 724-3188

Grab a cocktail at the Seafood Bar @ The Breakers for a quintessential Palm Beach experience. And try to get a seat at the bar itself where you'll have an ocean view... and the bar is actually a fish tank! If you're driving there, make sure to get your valet ticket validated at the restaurant.

Worth Avenue

Worth Avenue, Palm Beach, FL 33480

You can stroll along Worth Avenue, check out the clock tower (where we got engaged), and end up at the beach! Another stretch of high-end retailers, but it's essentially the 5th Avenue of Palm Beach. Some great dining options in this vicinity are Pizza Al Fresco, Buccan (our personal favorite), and Swifty's POOL @ The Colony Hotel.

O'Sheas Irish Pub

531 Clematis Street, West Palm Beach, FL 33401
, (561) 833-3865

You go here for the backyard spot. This is one of Malcolm's favorite places to grab a casual beer. There are also a lot of other fun bars in the surrounding area.
