Transportation to and from the wedding venue and After Party on Saturday will be provided for all guests, leaving from the recommended hotel blocks on the below timetable: Omni Hotel: 3:30PM The Draftsman: 3:45PM Hilton Garden Inn: 3:30PM Holiday Inn: 3:45PM An early shuttle will be departing at 9:15pm from the venue to the hotel blocks for guests unable to stay for the entire event. The final shuttle will be departing from the venue at 10:45pm to take guests to the After Party and their hotel blocks. Shuttles will be departing from the After Party at midnight and 1am. Anyone not staying at the hotel blocks is still welcome to catch the shuttle to and from the venue and After Party.

The Charlottesville Albemarle Airport (CHO) is only eight miles from Downtown Charlottesville, and it offers daily non-stop flights to and from six major airports: Charlotte (CLT), Chicago (ORD), Philadelphia (PHL), New York (LGA), Washington D.C. (IAD), and Atlanta (ATL). These six connector airports provide access to over 1,000 destinations worldwide. Visitors can also fly into Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA) or Dulles International Airport (IAD) outside Washington, D.C., just over two hours away whether by car, bus, or Amtrak.

The Richmond International Airport (RIC) is 1 hour and 20 minutes away from Charlottesville. Flights may be cheaper flying into Richmond, and car rental services are available on site at the airport.

Another airport option to fly into! This is located near Washington, D.C., and only a short Uber or metro ride (yellow/blue line) to the Alexandria Amtrak train station. From there, you may take the Amtrak train to Charlottesville, VA and be dropped off in the heart of downtown Charlottesville!

Charlottesville’s Amtrak Station (CVS) is centrally located at 810 West Main Street, between the Grounds of the University of Virginia and Downtown Charlottesville. Amtrak’s Northeast Regional service runs daily and connects Charlottesville with major cities like Washington, Philadelphia, New York, Providence, and Boston. The Crescent also operates daily and connects Charlottesville to New York, Washington, Charlotte, Atlanta, Birmingham, and New Orleans. The Cardinal runs three days a week from New York to Chicago and connects Charlottesville to major cities of the Northeast as well as Cincinnati, Indianapolis, and Chicago. It is typically a 2 hour train ride from Washington, D.C. to Charlottesville, VA. Open daily from 7:45 AM to 9:45 PM.
