Saunders-Monticello Trail
Take a hike! The well-maintained Saunders-Monticello Trail is 4.3 miles out and back with native hardwood forest, deep ravines and spectacular views of the Blue Ridge Mountains. The trail winds along Carter Mountain to Thomas Jefferson's Monticello.
