Weddings can be a lot of work to attend. Think of this weekend instead as your own epic Austin getaway (that happens to have a wedding going on in the middle of it).
Hey you, yeah you. We haven't forgotten about you. The world's changed quite a bit since we last talked, but one thing that hasn't is our love for each other and all the folks like you that make this life of ours a whole lot better. We are getting set to share a last name and thought we'd get everyone together to do a little celebrating. So pack up your bag, make sure those boots are ready to do a little scootin' and join us in Austin for the weekend. One thing we love to do is hosting parties at our house, and since our house won't quite fit what we have in mind we thought we'd have you out to where we spend most of our time, the brewery. We'll have an itinerary of what we'll be up to all weekend and we'd love to have you join us if you'd like or feel free to do your own thing. Check out the "schedule" tab on this site for our schedule, and the "things to do" for more suggested activities.
We will be joined by our parents, siblings and nephews this Spring for a much overdue family vacation and small wedding ceremony. But no wedding is official without a party, right? That's where y'all come in. Friday, June 24th, join us at Meanwhile for a night of dancing, singing, crying, eating, drinking, eating again, and gigglin'. Things will kick off around 6pm. The beer will be flowing and the food trucks will be open. Grab a bite when you're hungry, no need to wait. We'll have a band cuttin' it up on the stage all evening and we might mix in a special dance or two, but really the night is just about us getting a chance to say thank you for being a part of our lives. We are forever grateful for a community that has supported, challenged and loved us.
In Conner's words, "wear whatever makes you feel your best" Be uniquely you and wear what you feel most comfortable in, whether that's a sundress or a ballgown; a Hawaiian shirt or tuxedo. Note: We highly suggest comfy footwear since there are many areas of the park that are unpaved. Also, keep in mind the hot, hot Texas heat when picking out your outfit. Shorts are OK. *aka wedding casual* Not helpful enough? Conner will be wearing a suit and Kat a fancy white dress. Make sure not to look better than them is all.
