Guest number is limited by what our reception venue can accommodate, and we want to have as many of the people we love there as possible. Your invitation envelope will indicate whether we have accounted for a guest for you, but we ask that you bring only a significant other in this circumstance. Feel free to reach out with any questions or concerns!
As soon-to-be healthcare providers, our priority is to keep this event as safe as possible. This is especially important with Thanksgiving gatherings occurring a few days later. Therefore, we ask that you only attend if you (and your guest, if applicable) have received the COVID vaccine. Individuals who are not yet eligible for vaccination (such as children) or have a medical condition that precludes vaccination are the only exemptions. Please reach out if you have concerns about this policy. We will be happy to assist you in obtaining your vaccination.
The church does not permit casual dress such as jeans. We recommend formal or cocktail attire. There are only so many opportunities to get all dressed up (especially true over the past year), so let's make the most of it!
Please aim to be at the church at latest 15 minutes prior to the ceremony start time.
You will be responsible for your own transportation. The hotel to the church is a 5 minute drive, and the church to the reception venue is an ~18 minute drive. Carpooling with friends or family or usage of a ride service is encouraged if you feel you will not be able to transport yourself safely at any point. As a heads up, ride services may have longer wait times/fees for services than usual due to a potentially concurrent Vols football game downtown.
If you have a food allergy, please let us know as soon as possible.
