FAQs

Question

Are you having a reception and where?

Answer

We chose NOT to have a large gathering as it was something that turned into a “all about them” and not about us, kind of thing. There is a special dinner the evening of wedding - see “SCHEDULE” page for details. We want intimacy and love and support with those who gave the same to us.

Question

Where should we stay?

Answer

We understand it is a holiday weekend. This is all part of the plan. It’s an EXPERIENCE not just a wedding. If you’re looking for better rates we suggest looking in Ellsworth, ME off the island or splitting an AirBNB with some traveling friends.

Question

Where exactly is the Ceremony Location?

Answer

Location is Otter Cliffs, Acadia National Park, ME. Once you enter the park you want to take the Sand Beach loop, and the cliffs are 7.5 mi past Thunder Hole visitors site, on the left.

Question

Will there be signs on location?

Answer

Unfortunately National Park Services do not let you use any man made objects or props for wedding related events.
