Naturally you would assume with our line of work, that’s how we met…and you would be correct! To our training partners in the room, they would contest there was an immediate connection between us; making eyes across the room. But my favorite part of our story would come after a certain level of trust was established and breif friendship began. Brian would, then, gather enough confidence to call me up one rainy night while I was sitting watching the rain drops on the Patuxent River, and LITERALLY, profess his love. I was in a position, I was not sure if I was ready for at the time. But a little voice in my head said, “give him a chance.” I guess it was the Sperry’s or his quiet nature (later found to be not true). We quite literally push “fast forward,” on our relationship, and became so comfortable with each other’s flaws, faults, and best of all - humors. I mean, I convinced the man to get a dog with me with in a months time. Two dogs, two cats, and moving counties away from family, the boy became a man and put that “isht,” on my hand! Heck yeah! To those who don’t know the story behind the rock - its my favorite. In March 2020 my mother’s health took an unexpected turn, and still remains undiagnosed. She has good days, and bad days. When Brian took the leap to ask my mom’s permission, she provided him with her original engagement ring from my father. Don’t worry, she gets upgraded every 10 years. Go Ron! Brian then took that diamond, and designed a beautiful, one-of-a-kind ring, by blending elegancy and individuality. My ring is my own, it represents who I am to him, and how something that appears imperfect is beautiful and genuine. My center diamond is a piece of my mom, that I will forever carry with me. I am ready for our perfectly, imperfect - crazy life as a wedded couple, and we are excited to celebrate with our people, YOU, soon! Stay tuned!
