While we're in Puerto Morelos, don't be afraid to get out there and live a little! This is not just our destination wedding, this vacation is for you to enjoy yourself!
Puerto Morelos was the location of our first trip together! We spent the first couple days on the beach but left the resort on day three, to explore the town square to find amazing and cheap restaurants! There are plenty of tiny shops to discover and even more little eateries. Fishing and snorkeling are some of the best activities to do here.
Fun Fact: Dierks Bentley's music video was filmed here in Puerto Morelos for his number 1 single called "Somewhere on a Beach." Which is exactly where we'll soon find ourselves come November!

Sandra Dayton began creating the Community Tourism Project in 1994 with a vision of working with the local community in tourism so that the Mayans could benefit socially and financially. Her Community Tourism Project is a bridge to the Mayan community in Puerto Morelos. It enables the visitors of Puerto Morelos and the surrounding area to meet and make friends in the community. Ixchel Jungle Spa, Sunday Jungle Market, and Casa Cacahaute offer services to those travelers who are looking for adventure, culture and wanting to support the local community. Todd and I have been here twice now and can't wait to go once more!
