What about all the mysterious deaths in the DR?

Answer

Because of the scary news involving American tourists and all-inclusive resorts in the Dominican Republic lately, Todd and I have decided to relocate our wedding for safety and peace of mind. We have chosen our first choice of Now Jade located in Mexico, 30 minutes south of Cancun. It's a quaint, little fishing town called Puerto Morelos.

What should I wear to the Wedding?

Answer

This is a beach cocktail attire. Floor-length dresses and suits are not required. The beach always has a breeze coming off the water so it's advised to wear something warm if you tend to get cold. We will try and make the ceremony short and sweet so we're not in the sun for very long.

What do I need to do to reserve my room?

Answer

You will need to go to our booking website: https://garcia-prellop-wedding.weebly.com and be prepared to pay a deposit of $100/per person + Optional Insurance. Deposits are requested by June 14, 2019. Deposits made after this date will be subject to room availability. Final Payments are due by September 6, 2019.

When do I need to make my decision by?

Answer

Rooms are now subject to availability. Your deposits will be applied to the total cost of your room. Please contact Jackie Waechter if you need to reserve your hotel room.

When you book your room through our booking website, the final payments are due by September 6, 2019.

After I book my trip through your booking website, when will I get my travel itinerary?

Answer

Everyone will receive their travel documents via UPS a few weeks prior to travel with all of the trip details along with a nice document wallet and luggage tags from Jackie, our travel agent.

Is travel insurance really worth it?

Answer

Yes! I highly recommend you purchase the travel insurance through our booking website. It will guarantee some money back if you have to cancel your trip at the last minute and will ensure your hotel accommodations are rearranged in the event of a hurricane. Details provided on our booking website.

Once I get to Cancun, how will I get to the resort from the airport and back?

Answer

When you book your room through our website, round-trip airport transfers are included. This will be a shared ride to the resort from the airport, and back.

Are children allowed at the wedding?

Answer

Absolutely! Kids are allowed and welcomed!

Can your travel agent arrange my flight booking too?

Answer

Yes, Jackie is happy to help make those arrangements for you as well. You will be able to indicate if you want her to arrange this for you or not on our booking website. However, there is a small fee if you have her book your flight.

What do I need when going through the Mexico's customs?

Answer

You will need a valid passport. Be sure it will not expire in 6 months or less after your trip. This is a critical point when traveling aboard.
